Despite a booming tourism industry, Siem Reap province remains one of the poorest in Cambodia with negligible amounts of economic prosperity reaching those in the countryside. Jasmine Lodge has attempted to rectify this where possible with its ‘pro-poor’ employment, tour and food policies. Kunn employs eight permanent members of staff (6 general, 1cook and 1 laundry) and all have been recruited from villages outside of Siem Reap (Kunn: “Tourism does not reach there”). All eight employees receive accommodation and training, and can go to school locally. They also receive $40 per month in salary. These staff benefit from on-the-job English language training, through interaction with guests, as they go along.More story

[5days/4nights tour in Siem reap and Phnom Penh one day temple ]

Day 1:	Official tour guide and driver welcome you from airport, Ferry and bus station tohotel or guesthouse Lunch : City tour, Atisant dangkor (stone carving school), visiting Tonle sap sightseeing floating village and market with sunset. Dinner:
Day 2:	After breakfast to visit South gate of Angkor thom,Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Elephant terrace and terrace of leper king, Victory gate and Taphrom temple (giant root tree parasite on the gallery where is tomb raider filmed movie). Lunch : Angkor wat and sunset at Phnom Bakheng Dinner:
Day 3:	5 am sunrise at Angkor wat, back to have breakfast in the hotel or guesthouse and then going to sightseeing countryside, Bateay srey temple and Khbal spean(carving under the waterfall) Lunch: Boreiy sovvan restaurant on the edge of mountain in natural Tasom temple and Preah khan temple Dinner: Amazon or Koulen 2 (buffet dinner with khmer traditional dance)
Day 4:	Trip to Phnom Penh by (ferry or Mini van or bus and taxi) Pick up and check in guest house or hotel Lunch : Visiting international museum and Independent monument Royal palace, Silver pagoda, Dinner:
Day 5:	Russian Market (Phsa toul tompong),Toul sleng wat phnom and then transfer to airport
