Despite a booming tourism industry, Siem Reap province remains one of the poorest in Cambodia with negligible amounts of economic prosperity reaching those in the countryside. Jasmine Lodge has attempted to rectify this where possible with its ‘pro-poor’ employment, tour and food policies. Kunn employs eight permanent members of staff (6 general, 1cook and 1 laundry) and all have been recruited from villages outside of Siem Reap (Kunn: “Tourism does not reach there”). All eight employees receive accommodation and training, and can go to school locally. They also receive $40 per month in salary. These staff benefit from on-the-job English language training, through interaction with guests, as they go along.More story

Day 1: SIem reap-arrival:You will be met by a jasmine tours representative and taken to jasminelodge.you will meet you host Mr kunn.In the evening the tour guide and driver will come to pick you up from jasminelodge to buy tickets for next day and going to see sunset at Phnom Bakheng hill with good view of Angkor wat temple.

Day 2:siem reap-Angkor wat

After breakfast in the guesthouse going to angkor wat with air-cond car and tour guide,Angkor thom,Bayon and Elephant terrace,take a break for lunch and nap.In the afternoon going to Taphrom temple( tom raider filmed)Meals included: Breakfast,lunch and dinnerOvernight at jasminelodge.

Day 3:Siem reap- Bengmea lea temple and Banteay srey.

After breakfast head to Beng mealea temple just opened recently still in natural of jungle especially enter from east entrance and ater sightseeing rice field and countryside with mountain range surrounding.Meals included: breakfast,lunch and dinnerOvernight at jasminelodge

Day 4: siem reap city tours - Tonle sap

After breakfast heading to Tonle sap,Atisant da'ngkor and silk farm or shopping around.

Day 5 siem reap -Departure

Tour guide and driver transfer you back to airport
