Despite a booming tourism industry, Siem Reap province remains one of the poorest in Cambodia with negligible amounts of economic prosperity reaching those in the countryside. Jasmine Lodge has attempted to rectify this where possible with its ‘pro-poor’ employment, tour and food policies. Kunn employs eight permanent members of staff (6 general, 1cook and 1 laundry) and all have been recruited from villages outside of Siem Reap (Kunn: “Tourism does not reach there”). All eight employees receive accommodation and training, and can go to school locally. They also receive $40 per month in salary. These staff benefit from on-the-job English language training, through interaction with guests, as they go along.More story

1^st Day:B/L/D

Pick up from airport and transfer to guesthouse check in Lunch:Local restaurant. Sightseeing visiting silk farm in Pouk district,west Baray with water reservoir and temple in island, artisant d’angkor( stone carving) And then boat trip Kompong pluck/komong kleang village in Tonle sap singhtseeing floating house bamboo house,rocodile farm.

Dinner:Boreiy sovann restaurant khmer tradtional food

2nd Day: B/L/D

Sunrise at The Angkor wat 5 am and then back to guesthouse having breakfast and then meet English tour guide, Banteay kdei temple, Taphrom temple and then Preah khan

Lunch:local restaurant. South gate of Angkor thom, Bayon, Terrace of elephant and then back to sunset at Phnom Bakheng

Dinner: sightseeing Khmer traditional dance and buffet

3rd Day: B/L/D

After breakfast: Beng mealea temple (one further northeast of Angkor around 70km)

Lunch:Local khmer restaurant.shopping around siem reap city.

Dinner:Jasmine lodge restaurant

4th Day:

check out guesthouse and then shopping, Market and transfer to airport
