Despite a booming tourism industry, Siem Reap province remains one of the poorest in Cambodia with negligible amounts of economic prosperity reaching those in the countryside. Jasmine Lodge has attempted to rectify this where possible with its ‘pro-poor’ employment, tour and food policies. Kunn employs eight permanent members of staff (6 general, 1cook and 1 laundry) and all have been recruited from villages outside of Siem Reap (Kunn: “Tourism does not reach there”). All eight employees receive accommodation and training, and can go to school locally. They also receive $40 per month in salary. These staff benefit from on-the-job English language training, through interaction with guests, as they go along.More story

[4days/3nights tour in Siem reap and Phnom penh]

Day 1:	Official tour guide and driver welcome you from airport, Ferry and bus station to hotel or guesthouse Lunch : City tour,Atisant dangkor( stone carving school),visiting Tonle sap sightseeing floating village and market with sunset. Dinner:
Day 2:	5 am sunrise at Angkor wat back to guesthouse or hotel for breakfast South gate of Angkor thom,Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas ,Elephant terrace and terrace of leper king, Victory gate and Taphrom temple(giant root tree parasite on the gallery where is tomb raider filmed movie). Lunch : Angkor wat and sunset at Phnom Bakheng Dinner:
Day 3:	Trip to Phnom Penh by (ferry or bus and taxi) Pick up and check in guest house or hotel Lunch : Visiting international museum and Independent monument Dinner:
Day 4:	Visiting Royal palace, Silver pagoda, Toul Sleng, killing field and Wat Phnom and transfer to airport
